Miry’s List Annual Reports

2022 Annual Report

Imagine the global impact we’ll have when we move the focus from the scale of the crisis into the mindset of “How can I help the families resettling in my neighborhood?” In 2022, Miry's List supported 331 new arrival resetting families through our 12-month program. They're made up of 1,248 human beings, 56% of whom are babies and children. Parents, children, babies, grandparents, and those who served in the U.S. military all have hopes and dreams, pursuing safety, education, and a bright future.

2021 Annual Report

In 2021, Miry's List supported 252 new arrival resetting families through our 12-month program. They're made up of 1,207 human beings, over half of whom are babies and children. Moms, dads, children, babies, grandparents, and those who served in the U.S. military all have hopes and dreams, pursuing safety, education, and a bright future. They are new Americans. Future voters and community leaders. Our newest neighbors. Read this report to meet the people, explore the programs, and understand the Miry's List reason why.

2020 Annual Report

The needs of all vulnerable populations, including the resettling refugee families that Miry’s List serves, were exacerbated by the devastation brought to us in 2020. And that’s precisely where the Miry’s List Hive, our community of support, came in. Our Hive showed up and threw down harder than any year in our organization’s history.

2019 Annual Report

Since July 2016, Miry's List has gone from a single meeting with a newly resettling family from Syria to a nonprofit organization serving hundreds of refugee families resettling in the United States by connecting them with their new American neighbors. In 2019 helped hundreds of people from Syria, Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq get the things, people, and services they need upon arrival to the US to begin their new lives with a community support system of help and welcoming neighbors. Our 2019 Annual Report is an overview of what we accomplished, together with our generous contributors. Thank you for helping.

2018 Annual Report

2018 was a year that we found so many ways to show our love and dedication to our new arrival neighbors. We paved paths, built bridges, and even broke down a few walls. We rejected xenophobia and leaned into loving our neighbors, seeing ourselves in them, and seeking out our similarities. We made America a more welcoming place for newcomers seeking a safe and empowered future. There's always something you can do at miryslist.org.
