Celebrate Nowruz with Family & Friends

Join us for an evening of food, friends, and meaningful conversation with Miry's List, an Los Angeles nonprofit organization supporting families resettling as refugees in 27 states across the U.S.

Our Nowruz Dinner benefitting Miry's List will feature a gorgeous Persian feast by chef Aqila Asghary, new American from Afghanitan who resides with her family in Burbank. Miry's List founder, Miry Whitehill, will engage us in thought-provoking program about the situation for resettling refugee families in the U.S., how the families are doing, and how we can help.

We will have the opportunity to get to know Aqila and the Asghary family through a discussion moderated by Parisa Parnian, Iranian-American multi-disciplinary visual artist and culinary creative and founder of Savage Muse. Parisa will also provide a curated soundscape for the night, inspired by Aziz Amor, a SWANA x Latinx dance dance party she throws in DTLA.

It's a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the Spring Equinox, share a delicious meal, connect with friends, and make a positive impact in our community with an organization we care deeply about. Weather permitting, this event will take place outdoors.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
